Intensive Drive Policy

Booking and Instructor Coordination

Intensive Drive acts as a booking intermediary and levies a fee to aid in coordinating driving lessons with your designated instructor. Should you encounter any difficulties with the instructor, such as punctuality, lesson cancellations, or any dissatisfaction, please address your concerns directly with them. In such situations, we strive to be impartial and can arrange for a different instructor if one is available.

Our primary duty is to facilitate the process of learner drivers booking lessons with driving instructors. Our service streamlines this process, eliminating the need for customers to contact instructors directly via messaging, calls, or emails.

Arranging Time Off Work & Reimbursement for Expenses

All reservations will only be confirmed upon receipt of a deposit by the instructor. We ask that you do not make any plans such as taking time off work, booking hotels, or incurring expenses for our regular driving lessons or intensive crash course until an instructor contacts you to organize your full lesson schedule. Intensive Drive will not be responsible for any financial losses due to schedule changes, cancellations related to weather, or any issues with instructors that may result in postponing the course.

Flexible Test Rescheduling: Ensuring You’re Prepared for Success

If you have scheduled a test with us and feel unprepared, we will gladly reschedule it for you without any additional charges. The test date will be postponed, and we will search for available slots when your instructor believes you will be ready. Please keep in mind that we need a minimum of 10 days’ notice to change a driving test date, as per DVSA regulations, to avoid losing the fee. Rest assured, we will make an effort to send you reminders throughout the process.

Policy Regarding Practical Test

  • All driving tests are booked through the DVSA.
  • We’re not responsible for any inconvenience caused if you change the test yourself.
  • The DVSA may reschedule your test due to examiner availability. Lesson dates may be adjusted accordingly.
  • We do not guarantee a pass on the first attempt.
  • Training vehicles are roadworthy, insured, and fitted with dual controls.
  • We are not responsible for vehicle breakdowns or resulting losses during the test.
  • If using your own vehicle, ensure it has L plates, valid tax, insurance, and MOT.
  • Instructors may withhold the vehicle if driving is deemed unsafe.

Fast-Track Practical Driving Test Fees

£150 (inclusive of DVSA fee of £62 and our finder’s fee of £88)

We manually search for cancellations to find earlier slots and do not use automated bots. The £88 covers our operational costs.

If you cancel within DVSA guidelines, the £62 is refundable; the £88 is non-refundable.

Policy Regarding Theory Test

Our fast-track theory driving test fees:

£111 (includes DVSA fee of £23 and finder’s fee of £88)

If canceled as per DVSA policy, £23 is refundable; £88 is non-refundable.

Policy Regarding Driving Lessons

  • You must have and present a UK provisional driving license for all lessons and tests.
  • Lessons must start within 3 months unless otherwise agreed. Refunds are available if delay is our fault.
  • Theory test must be passed before booking a practical test.
  • Instructor not responsible for vehicle issues but will try to find an alternative vehicle.
  • Be present at agreed times; instructors may be late due to traffic and will compensate for time.
  • We may reschedule lessons due to illness, traffic, or weather.
  • Lessons missed or canceled with short notice (less than 24 hours for weekly lessons, 48 hours for semi/intensive) will be fully charged.
  • Driving tests take priority over lessons; lessons may be moved.
  • Bad behavior can result in immediate termination of lessons without refund.
  • Wear suitable clothing and inform the instructor of any medication affecting driving.

Instructor Disputes and Refunds

The agreement for lessons is between the student and instructor. Intensive Drive is not responsible for any refund claims regarding lessons. Refund requests must be directed to the instructor.

Intensive Drive only takes a deposit for arranging tests, instructors, and materials. Lesson fees are paid in advance directly to the instructor.

You may request a refund if you cancel at least 14 days before the course start date. Refunds for unused lessons must be handled by the instructor.

Privacy Policy

We comply with UK data protection laws. Personal data collected is used to arrange bookings and may be shared with instructors and the DVSA.

Your consent is the legal basis for data processing, and you may withdraw consent at any time by contacting admin@intensivedrive.co.uk.

Data is securely stored until the booking is complete, after which it’s archived. Phone calls may be recorded for training.

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time.
