GENERAL DRIVING LESSONS
For regular driving lessons, you’ll settle payments with your instructor on a lesson-by-lesson basis.
INTENSIVE CRASH COURSE AND SEMI-INTENSIVE COURSE
When you enroll in either of these programs, you’ll need to provide full payment to your instructor at the beginning of your first lesson. This approach allows the instructor to properly allocate time for your course in their schedule.
The primary distinction lies in course duration and lesson frequency. Intensive courses are completed quickly with daily lessons, semi-intensive courses spread lessons over several weeks, and general courses offer flexible scheduling over an extended period.
Intensive courses commonly last 1-2 weeks, semi-intensive courses range from 3-6 weeks, and general driving lessons can extend over several months depending on your individual learning speed and availability.
The intensive course is ideal for those with limited time as it allows you to complete your training quickly, typically within 1-2 weeks of daily lessons.
It’s completely normal to feel nervous. Our instructors are experienced in helping anxious learners and will work at a pace you’re comfortable with to build your confidence.
The total driving practice time is similar across all courses. Intensive and semi-intensive courses compress this time into a shorter period, while general lessons spread it over a longer duration.
Yes, most driving schools allow you to switch between course types. However, it’s best to discuss this with your instructor to ensure a smooth transition.
In the UK, you can start learning to drive a car at 17 years old. However, you can apply for your provisional license when you’re 15 years and 9 months old.
Pass rates can vary, but intensive courses often have high pass rates due to the concentrated learning experience. However, success ultimately depends on individual aptitude and dedication.
Intensive courses are usually more expensive upfront but may save money in the long run. Semi-intensive and general lessons often have lower weekly costs but may accumulate over time. It’s best to compare total costs for your specific situation.

The timing of your test booking is contingent upon your specific situation. If your booking includes a theory test, you have the flexibility to choose your preferred date. The earliest possible time frame for this is 2 weeks.
For those who have already passed the theory test and only require a driving test, the quickest possible waiting period is 5 weeks. However, the typical timeframe for securing a test slot is usually around 8-12 weeks in advance.
